When GPT chat Arrived in November 2022, it was a shock. Not only for tech, but for all those who, like us, have been looking for years how to make technology really useful in businesses.

For the first time, artificial intelligence was becoming generative ; able to understand, write and converse naturally, with context, tone and meaning. And that day, we called each other with Julian:

Because before Volubile, we had experienced the reality of the field.At Qapa, we spent our days on the phone: calling prospects, answering temporary workers, managing thousands of questions about contracts, salaries, missions. Hours and hours of essential calls, but impossible to scale.

For a long time, we dreamed of a way toautomate these conversations without sacrificing anything to quality.Create AI voice chat agents able to call and respond like real advisers; with the right intonation, the right response, at the right time.

And when ChatGPT came along, that dream took shape. The technology was finally ready. The uses were there. And businesses urgently needed: prospect more, respond more quickly, build better loyalty.‍

It was on this day that Volubile.ai was born.

The ground before Volubile: Qapa and the thousands of calls every week

Before Volubile, we spent ten years building Qapa, an employment platform born from scratch and which became a digital pioneer in temporary work, until it was bought by Adecco.That's where we meet.Julien, then technical director, transformed each idea into a concrete product, often in record time.

At Qapa, we used to use the telephone on a daily basis:
call, call again, reassure, answer.
And despite all our efforts, some calls went unanswered, messages piled up...
simply because you couldn't be everywhere at the same time.

This frustration — a Missed call that could cost an opportunity — planted the first seed of Volubile.

The “trigger”: November 2022

• November 2022 : ChatGPT is launched. We say to ourselves with Julien: “It's now or never.”
• September 2023 : mission set, company created. Clear objective: Make AI speak.
• January 2024 : arrival of our first three developers — Matthieu, Maxence and Anthony — and launch of the platform.
• September 2024 : first sales, first customers, first returns.
• Today (September 2025) : more than 200 customers in all sectors — telecom, real estate, health, health, retail, B2B services — in France and internationally.

Volubile.ai is now capable ofautomate incoming and outgoing calls, in all languages and for all sectors, thanks to AI voice agents linked via API to our customers' business tools (CRM, ERP, ticketing, agenda, internal databases, etc.).
Our chatbots don't just answer: they perform actions, power the systems, and manage complete processes — from customer follow-up to order taking, including relaunch or commercial qualification.
